New Balance is Dropping a 550 "Shifted Sport" Pack

New Balance tends to release new colorways of the 550 in trios. We had a varsity gold, black, and burgundy pack release this past May, followed by a purple, green, and navy pack in June. We are now treated to three more colorways of the retro basketball silhouette for the final month of summer.

Paying tribute to the original 1989 colorways worn by basketball players, this “Shifted Sport” pack comes with classic details reminiscent of the era – simple, clean and true to its legacy. Each team-inspired colorway comes with a white leather upper and contrasting black leather hits on the toe cap and around the collar. The pack offers red, blue, and green colorways, with the pops of color found on the tongue, N logo, heel counter, and outsole.
