BMX superstar Nigel Sylvester has officially unveiled the next chapter in his Bike Air collaboration with Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick.”
A sequel to 2025’s Sneaker of the Year, the “Brick After Brick” was first teased at Nigel’s fashion show for the Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick” and apparel collection. Now, shortly after the pair was spotted on the feet of Michael Jordan himself, Sylvester has shared a full detailed look at the shoe along with its special packaging.
While the “Brick by Brick” told the story of building towards a goal carefully and gradually, the “Brick After Brick” is about maintaining that success once those goals are achieved.
“This next chapter, Brick After Brick, dives into the discipline and the consistency it takes to sustain success while continuing to build,” says Nigel Sylvester. “It’s similar to that universal sentiment—achieving success is one thing, the real challenge is sustaining it.”
The shoe itself is reminiscent of the OG “Fire Red” Air Jordan 4 colorway from 1989, though reinterpreted through Nigel’s lens with distinct hues, color blocking, materials, and detailing. The pair features premium full-grain leather construction in Sail, a mini embroidered Swoosh on the toe box, Muslin netting on the tongue and side panels with reflective 3M, and brick-like texturing on the heel tabs and hangtags, each embroidered with Bike Air branding. A brick-red Cinnabar hue is applied throughout, landing on the lace locks, tongue lining, and toe of the midsole. The shoes arrive in brick-inspired packaging similar to the “Brick by Brick” release, this time rendered in white instead of red.
