Original Story (04/21/26): Japanese streetwear OGs NIGO and Jun Takahashi have teamed up to release a special Air Force 1 inspired by their magazine column and clothing brand from the early ’90s, LAST ORGY 2.
NIGO and UNDERCOVER founder Jun Takahashi created LAST ORGY 2 as a sequel to the LAST ORGY editorial column by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Kan Takagi, which first appeared in Takarajima Magazine in 1987. Both columns touched on the latest in street culture, ranging from clothing, music, film, and more.
In addition to the column, NIGO and Takahashi would occasionally release LAST ORGY 2-branded clothing at their NOWHERE boutique, which opened in Harajuku in 1993. Alongside these drops, NIGO’s BAPE and Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER were also gaining momentum, generating significant buzz at the shop. In 2022, NIGO’s HUMAN MADE and Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER revived LAST ORGY 2 through collaborative collections, one in February joined by Verdy and another in October.
The upcoming “LAST ORGY 2” Air Force 1 comes in a sail and navy color scheme, inspired by the color scheme of the NOWHERE shop sign. Additional details include patent leather construction (a nod to NIGO’s BAPE STA designs), white contrast stitching, and an underlined 2 logo on the lateral heel. This Air Force 1 will be the first in a series to use Nike’s new 2001 retro cut, designed with a sleeker vintage look to more closely resemble the shape of Air Force 1 sneakers from the early 2000s.

Update (04/22/26): The “Last Orgy 2” Air Force 1 and accompanying apparel collection launches May 1st at London’s Design Museum, coinciding with the opening of the exhibition, “NIGO: From Japan With Love.” A wider release will follow on May 2nd at 11am JST on humanmade.jp and at UNDERCOVER Aoyama.
The apparel offering includes a coaches jacket and tee, based on LO2 pieces NIGO and Takahashi were making back in 1993. Check out the official images below.
