Original Story (02/21/26): The Air Jordan 13 “True Red,” also known as “Chicago” or “Cherry,” will be making a comeback as part of Jordan Brand’s Spring 2026 lineup. This marks the third retro of this colorway, following previous releases in 2010 and 2017.
One of five original colorways of the Air Jordan 13 that first released in 1998, the Air Jordan 13 in White and True Red was designed to match the Chicago Bulls home jerseys (hence the “Chicago” nickname) and was worn by MJ on-court frequently during the 1997-1998 NBA season through his quest for a sixth championship.
Staying true to the original design, the 2026 retro of the “Chicago” 13 features white tumbled leather uppers paired with red suede accents and the signature cat eye hologram logo on the ankle. The pair is finished with a black Jumpman on the center of the tongue, followed by a black midsole and rubber outsoles.
