Nike’s first 3D-printed sneaker is getting an update. After introducing the Air Max 1000 last year—a futuristic printed version of the classic Air Max 1—Nike and 3D footwear printing company Zellerfeld continued to refine the design, making subtle changes to the manufacturing process to increase efficiency and performance. The result is the Nike Air Max 1000.2.

Upgrades on the 1000.2 include a cleaner lug outsole design, refined geometry, and an improved feel. These subtle changes improve print efficiency, allowing Zellerfeld to produce more pairs in a shorter amount of time. The rest remains the same—wavy patterns mimic the original Air Max 1 mudguard, while the laceless design makes the shoe simple to slip on.

The debut colorway of the Air Max 1000.2 comes in all-black, with AIRMAX 1000.2 branding printed in white on the visible Air heel unit.

An EQL raffle for the Nike Air Max 1000.2 opens May 4th on the Zellerfeld website and closes on May 7th. Pairs will also be available on SNKRS on May 7th. Check them out below.
