Nike is dropping a new “Lilac” colorway of the Air Max 1000, a sneaker developed in collaboration with 3D-printing footwear manufacturer Zellerfeld.
Following the release of the “Oat” and “Black” iterations, the Nike Air Max 1000 now comes dressed in a soft purple hue. The silhouette reimagines the classic Air Max 1 into a laceless slip-on style made from Zellerfeld’s proprietary ZellerfFOAM, complete with an Air Max bubble in hot pink on the heel and wavy patterns and textures on the upper that mimic the OG Air Max 1’s mudguard.
The Nike Air Max 1000 “Lilac” drops October 21st in limited quantities via raffle on the Zellerfeld website, with entries accepted starting October 16th at 1pm ET. Check out the official images below.
