After dropping special colorways of the Air Max 90 Golf last year for the PGA Championship and US Open, the model returns this year in a “Picnic” colorway in celebration of Nike’s 50th annual family picnic.
Nike’s company picnic has been a yearly tradition since rebranding from Blue Ribbon Sports, the first picnic taking place in 1972. The commemorative Air Max 90 Golf features a golden woven mesh upper with red and white checkered gingham overlays, representing a picnic basket and picnic blanket. Additional details include ketchup and mustard packet tongue tags, commemorative insoles, and a hot dog with mustard design on the lace tips.
