Nike is celebrating the cultural and global impact of the Air Max 95 with a new “City Pack” drop, drawing inspiration from local communities that put the silhouette in the spotlight.
The collection is comprised of four AM95 colorways, each representative of a city and its roots. The “Atelier” features a neutral gradient upper and black midsole, paying homage to Paris’s creative hustle and “third space” studios, while the “Hong Kong” colorway features red gradients and textures, reminiscent of the city’s neon-lit streets and work culture. The international landscapes continue with a third colorway, dubbed “Seongsu,” which arrives with a gray upper with black accents and red laces, spotlighting Seoul’s evolving neighborhood and subway station No. 211. Lastly, the “I-95” style features an all-black upper and metal eyelets. Its design honors the dirt biking community as well as the streets of Baltimore. While each colorway is dedicated to different parts of the world, the mission remains the same: uplifting communities and fearless athletes.
“It’s a full-circle moment for me to see how the Swoosh and the Air Max 95 have represented our lives and our goals,” says Dough-Boy, founder of BAKERIE and Hong Kong-based rapper, songwriter and music producer.
Accompanying the footwear styles is a selection of apparel including classic sportswear staples and motorsports-and-gaming culture-inspired pieces.
The Nike Air Max 95 “City Pack” collection will be available starting February 7th at select retailers and February 19th via SNKRS. Check out the entire collection below.
