You already know the name. The Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy” is back, and this time it’s showing up with a Big Bubble upgrade and an Air Max Day release date. What’s a better way to celebrate one of the most iconic silhouettes in sneaker history than by throwing every color it’s ever worn into one shoe?
The “Greedy” concept was born in 2015, when Nike Sportswear took the AM95’s most beloved OG colorways: Neon, Infrared, Orange Blaze, Grape, and others, and mashed them all into one shoe. Then in 2020, the “Greedy 2.0” followed for the silhouettes’ 25th anniversary, this time swapping in Volt, Hot Red, and Aqua with a Gunsmoke/Grey Fog base that nodded to the original. Now in 2026, we’re on round three, and the AM95 has never looked more chaotic in the best way possible.
What sets this Greedy apart is its hairy suede gradient upper, a textured, almost fuzzy construction that gives the AM95s signature layered panels a new dimension. The upper transitions from lighter bone to a dark charcoal, keeping the familiar gradient silhouette intact while adding a tactile element that makes this one feel genuinely special in hand. The eyestay fabric transitions into a mesh-like material, adding a nice finish to the black gradient, while the crisp white midsole starts it off perfectly.
Every colorway the AM95 has ever touched seems to show up somewhere here. The eyestay reinforcement on each shoe is different: one gets a teal-and-bright-hot-pink combo, while the other gets a volt-and-orange combo. The Air units underfoot are also mismatched: one heel pops in orange-red, the other in teal. The insoles come in different colors, the Air Max logo on the tongues is asymmetrical, Nike’s description puts it plainly: “Mismatched, asymmetrical, greedy.”
Nike Air Max Day has always been the right occasion to flex a release like this. The holiday, landing annually on March 26th, has been the platform for some of the Air Max line’s most memorable moments. The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Greedy” releases this Thursday, March 26th, on SNKRS and at select retailers.
