After bringing back the OG “Neon” Air Max 95s last year in limited quantities for its 30th anniversary, Nike is now giving fans another shot at copping the classic 1995 silhouette in its iconic original colorway.
Through the creative lens of designer Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 draws inspiration from the anatomy of a human body, with key details like its nylon eyelets reminiscent of a rib cage and its wavy side panels that resemble muscle fibers. Staple details like Air cushioning and volt accents make this an instant classic for any sneaker enthusiast’s rotation.
Last year’s release of the “Neon” Air Max 95 served as the re-introduction of the “Big Bubble,” with pairs featuring a larger visible Air unit on the heel that more closely resembles the Air units of the originals from 1995. The drop was purposefully limited to drum up excitement, stocked at only a handful of retailers across the globe. This time around, the shoe will be much more accessible, available at a wide range of retailers and in full-family sizing.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Neon” is set to restock on March 5th via SNKRS and select retailers. Check out the official images below.
