Nike will be releasing a new colorway of the Air Max 98. While the shoe has no official ties to the current NBA champions, it is clear that the black, purple, red and white are an homage to the Toronto Raptors.
The upper comes in white leather and mesh with black overlays. It also has a purple tongue and red laces and a red Air Max unit. Branding on the shoe includes a purple Swoosh on the toe box and a red Swoosh with purple outlining on the lateral side panel.
Toronto is still celebrating their first NBA Championship win, so these are going to be a must have for many Raptors fans. Look for the Nike Air Max 98 “Toronto Raptors” to release soon at Nike.com and select retailers.
