The original Nike Air More Uptempo is restocked every few years, and for good reason. It’s a timeless silhouette with roots tied to the ’90s Chicago Bulls, sparking nostalgia among both NBA fans and sneakerheads alike.
The OG Black/White colorway—famously worn by Scottie Pippen during the Bulls’ historic 72-10 season—returns for another restock in 2026. While never officially designated as a Pippen signature model, the shoe is so closely associated with the Hall of Fame forward that it has become synonymous with Pippen’s play during one of the most dominant seasons in NBA history.
Designed by Wilson Smith, the Air More Uptempo features oversized “AIR” lettering across the medial and lateral sides of upper, visible Air cushioning throughout the thick midsole, and bubble Swoosh logos on the heels.
Pairs from the 2026 restock will have the same SKU and design as the 2023 release, which extended the white underlays under the “AIR” lettering to the midsole to more closely resemble the design of original pairs from 1996.
The only differences between the 2023 and 2026 pairs will be the manufacturing dates on the size tag and the retail price, which has been bumped up by $10 since the release three years ago.
