Nike is getting into the Halloween spirit with a wide-ranging collection of signature basketball sneakers inspired by horror characters, childhood fears, and each athlete’s own personality. Spanning NBA and WNBA stars, the main collection pairs each sneaker with a matching wearable mask, giving every release its own character and backstory.
The lineup includes zombie, vampire, witch, and comic-book villain themes, alongside designs inspired by classic horror films. Ja Morant’s zombie theme returns on the Nike Ja 4, continuing a Halloween tradition that began with the Ja 1, while Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes the Batman villain Riddler with his Freak 8 “Trick Question.” LeBron James revisits his memorable 2017 Pennywise costume with the LeBron 24 “Storm Drain,” and Cade Cunningham’s S.T. Charge draws inspiration from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
The collection also includes Victor Wembanyama’s alien-inspired Nike Zoom GT Cut 4, Sabrina Ionescu’s vampire-themed Sabrina 4, Devin Booker’s Frankenstein-inspired Book 2, Kevin Durant’s “Slim Reaper” KD19, Caitlin Clark’s witch-themed Caitlin 1, and A’ja Wilson’s multicolored A’Two “Potion No. 22.”
Beyond the main mask-accompanied collection, Nike is releasing two additional Halloween-themed basketball shoes: the LeBron Witness X “Halloween” and the Ja 4 High “Halloween.” Neither comes with a character mask, but both bring their own seasonal designs. The Ja 4 High is especially notable as the first high-top release in the Ja 4 line.
Nike Basketball’s 2026 Halloween collection begins releasing October 23, with additional pairs scheduled for October 30 and the GT Cut 4 as a late arrival in December. The sneakers will be available through Nike and select Foot Locker stores, with online releases at Nike and Foot Locker.
To celebrate the launch, Foot Locker is hosting “Halloween Haunt at Foot Locker,” a one-day pop-up in Atlanta on October 23 from 4-11pm, located at at 562 Lee St SW. The event will offer early access to select releases scheduled for October 30. Check out the full lineup below.
