The Hypervenom, Mercurial Vapor 2002, Total 90 Laser, and Tiempo were untouchable on the field. Nike just moved them off of it. The Mad 90 Pack reimagines all four as Air Max 90s, pulling the colorways, materials, and DNA of each boot into a sportswear silhouette.
The Air Max 90 Hypervenom is one of the loudest of the four and intentionally so. The original 2013 Hypervenom was built for players who thrived in chaos, and this version doesn’t shy away from that energy. The upper arrives in bold orange and black, with the honeycomb texture covering the entire upper, including the heel and tongue. As for details, a skull-and-crossbones graphic is seen on the lateral side, and a large “90” stamped on the heel. It looks aggressive because it’s supposed to.
Then there’s the Air Max 90 Laser 90, which is impossible to miss. Almost entirely decked out in yellow except for the toebox and tongue, which offer some balance in black. The Total 90 Laser’s skeleton graphic lives on through a see-through rubber outsole, and “totalninety” is spelled out across the heel in a font that feels pulled straight from the early 2000s. There is another pop of color, a red Nike hit outside the tongue tab and bordering it.
The Air Max 90 Mercurial takes the opposite approach of these two; it’s restrained but loaded with detail. Working from the Mercurial Vapor 2002, this version runs mostly black with orange trim outlining the profile. The translucent icy outsole is a standout move with the heel matching it, and an orange football boot tongue ties it directly back to its on-field origin. The laces that come with it are deep brown, keeping the shoe minimal for everyday wear.
Rounding out the pack is the Air Max 90 Tiempo, the most understated of the group. Black and olive green with a crackled texture across the midsole and a yellow outline tracing part of the profile. The 2005 Tiempo was a boot associated with the more expressive side of football and its premium leather and quilted details carry that spirit forward.
Each shoe also comes with an apparel capsule tied to a specific global football community — LA street culture for the Hypervenom, early-2000s English football for the Laser 90, the Korean Wave for the Mercurial, and a Chinese punk-rock influence for the Tiempo.
