Following the reveal of the Arizona Diamondbacks jersey, Nike unveils the sixth installment in its MLB City Connect Series. Taking a trip to the Bay Area, Nike presents its San Francisco Giants City Connect Jersey.
Honors one of America’s most iconic structures, the jersey pays homage to the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is a beacon of inspiration in the region, a precursor to the Bay Area’s boundary-pushing technological innovation.
The San Francisco Giants will debut their Nike MLB City Connect Jersey on July 9th, during one of the foggiest months in San Francisco. The jersey’s white base represents the Bay Area’s ever-present fog, while the orange details are borrowed from the Golden Gate Bridge’s paint scheme. The Giants’ “G” showcases a vertical graphic fade from white to orange, as if peeking over the rising fog of the San Francisco Bay. Similarly, Golden Gate Bridge graphics peek through the fog clouds on both sleeves.
The Nike MLB San Francisco Giants City Connect Jersey and accompanying fan gear launches today, July 5th, on nike.com, the Nike app, the MLB online shop, and select retailers. Stay to Modern Notoriety for the reveal of the seventh and final City Connect Jersey, the LA Dodgers.
Without a doubt the worst uniforms in giants history! Yes they are that awful!
This is a breathtakingly dumb take.
At the end of the regular season, the Giants record in these jersey’s is 8-1. They can stay.
