Both Playstation and Nike’s signature Paul George shoe have evolved significantly over the past few years, and leaked images suggest that they’re set to celebrate their respective journeys with a follow-up to their 2018 collaboration sometime this year.
Drawing heavily from the striking white, black, and blue design of the Playstation 5, the Sony PlayStation x Nike PG 5 is set to arrive in two colorways. The first takes cues from the PS5’s high-profile white enclosure, with rich blue accents lining the midsole that echo the console’s DualSense 5 controller. The second seems to draw from the PS5’s system backgrounds and features soft blue glows permeating the inky black upper.
While the former colorway uses a black tongue and the second uses a white, both feature large PlayStation and PG tongue badges. Each shoe features a PS5 midsole badge, embossed PlayStation button shapes, and PG5 heel tabs. Both colorways are finished off with an ergonomic-patterned blue outsole that reveals the shoe’s full-length Air cushioning.
There’s no official release info for the PlayStation x Nike Paul George PG 5, but the shoes are expected to release for $110 sometime this year. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
