Nike, perhaps in light of every other brand catching up to their initial woven game, has upped the bar yet again it seems. Premiered, officially, today is the Flyweave technology that will most likely be popping up all over the Nike collection.
The aeronautical inspired technology can be used to better tailor sneakers and there uppers to specific tasks all the while being aesthetically pleasing. The natural motion enhancing material proves that the swoosh aren’t taking the rise of adidas and other brands lightly, and we hope they use it for good and can offer it at an affordable price point, because frankly other brands are slaughtering them on that front. The technology has already hit some kicks we’ve seen, including the Jordan 29, and some CJ cleats, but we look forward to seeing widespread use within the coming year. As always stay tuned to MN for the latest on all things Swoosh.
