Nike SB draws inspiration from California’s Verdugo Mountains for a new colorway of the Dunk Low dropping as part of the skateboarding division’s Fall 2025 lineup.
Blending performance, storytelling, and West Coast culture, this SB Dunk Low pays homage to the cycling and skate communities of Los Angeles County’s San Fernando Valley. The sneaker features a pistachio green suede upper, matching the color of the Crust Bikes Romanceur that Nike SB team manager Scuba Steve rode through the Verdugo Mountains 5 days a week during the COVID lockdown.

Additional details nodding Steve’s Romanceur include wolf grey leather swooshes, burnt orange branding on the heels, black accents, and a gum yellow sole. Meanwhile, graphics on the insides of the tongues and the insoles are tied directly to the Verdugo Mountains, famous for its hiking and mountain biking adventures. These graphics include illustrations of a map, a mountain bike, and the satellite dish and communication towers stationed at the top of the mountain range.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Verdugo Mountains” is currently arriving at skate shops worldwide, so if you’re looking to cop, check with your locals to see if they have them in stock. They are also currently available on SNKRS in select regions internationally. Below you’ll find the official images and Crust Bikes’ ‘Verdugo Dunk Ride’ video featuring Scuba Steve and crew.
