Nike Drops Kobe 6 “Grinch Mismatch” Cleats For the Holidays

Debuted by Kobe Bryant on Christmas Day in 2010, the Nike Kobe 6 “Grinch” is one of the most popular and iconic basketball shoes of all time. This past Thanksgiving, Nike brought back the famed bright green colorway in football cleat form, expanding it from the hardwood to the gridiron. The festivities continue this Christmas with the release of the Vapor Edge Kobe 6 “Mismatch.”

The “Mismatch” Vapor Edge Kobe 6 is comprised of both the 2010 “Grinch” colorway and the 2023 “Reverse Grinch,” with the right cleat dressed in the original Apple Green and the left cleat dressed in the Bright Crimson Kobe 6 colorway that released last holiday season.

The Vapor Edge Kobe 6 cleat was designed to be sleek and low-to-the-ground, featuring a revamped upper with lightweight molded elements that help reinforce the heel for more support. Plus, the Vapor Edge 360 plate provides durable traction, all thanks to separating the internal plate from the studs so it sits closer to your foot for flexible support.
