Original Story (05/29/25): Off-White and Nike are set to rekindle their partnership with the launch of a new collaborative Air Force 1 Low colorway.
The upcoming pair features a sesame-toned leather upper with a matching sole unit and a metallic silver Swoosh. All the signature design touches of the late Virgil Abloh are here: the orange tag on the lateral Swoosh, “NIKE, INC. c/o Virgil Abloh” text on the medial side, “AIR” branding on the midsole, and of course, the removable zip tie on the laces.
This “Sesame” Off-White AF1 originally made an appearance at the Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture exhibition during Design Miami/ 2022 at the Rubell Museum. It was initially rumored to be an exclusive for the Figures of Speech exhibition in Doha, Qatar, though that release never materialized. Whether this will now be a region-exclusive drop remains to be seen.
Barring any last minute cancellations, this “Sesame” colorway will be the first Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low to drop since the release of the green “Brooklyn” pair in 2022.

Update (08/18/25): Official images of this “Sesame” Air Force 1 have arrived. Looking closely, we see that all Off-White branding has been removed. While previous iterations featured “Off-White for NIKE” wordingl, this new iteration now reads”NIKE, INC. c/o Virgil Abloh™” on the side panel.
This indicates that the shoe will be released in collaboration with Virgil Abloh’s estate instead of the Off-White fashion label. Expect all future releases from this partnership to forego the Off-White branding, as Virgil Abloh’s estate and Off-White parted ways in 2022. Off-White as a brand is now owned by management group Bluestar Alliance and is not an active Nike partner. These behind-the-scenes business dealings could also be why the rumored Off-White x Air Jordan 1 keeps getting pushed back.
No release details just yet, though a drop of this “Sesame” Air Force 1 is rumored to take place at the “Virgil Abloh: The Codes” exhibition opening September 30th in Paris. Check out the official images below and stay tuned for more.
