Two brands with a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and heritage have come together for an outdoors-ready capsule that’s worth paying attention to. OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP and Timberland‘s first collaboration is a capsule centered around a reworked take on the iconic 6-Inch Boot alongside a full apparel offering, all built around the spirit of early outdoor aesthetics.
The boot itself is the clear standout, crafted from premium Horween leather that develops unique character over time. The refined, reshaped toe box enhances the silhouette, while the anti-fatigue footbed provides long-lasting comfort. A rugged Vibram rubber outsole ensures solid traction, making these shoes perfect for both urban strolls and outdoor adventures.
“We built the collection around the formative years of early era outdoor aesthetics, pairing everyday clothes with a weather-resistant jacket and a great pair of rugged boots,” says Jockum Hallin, co-founder of OUR LEGACY and creative director of OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP. Drawing from construction-site culture and ’90s New York rap, the duo leans into Timberland’s history as an outdoor pioneer.
The apparel side of the collab is just as considered. The lineup includes the all-season Whard Coat in Japanese 60/40 cotton-nylon, a Weather Cap in Italian sheepskin nubuck, the Work Cut in raw deadstock Italian selvedge denim, a relaxed Timber Shirt complete with a pencil slot chest pocket, and a washed black heavyweight cotton Pocket Longsleeve.
The campaign itself is everything you’d expect from two brands that take their archives seriously, with a poster on their Instagrams that resembles Timberland ads you’d see in the magazines during the ’70s.
