Following their inaugural partnership last year, C.P. Company and Palace are back with a new collaborative collection for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.
Like with last year’s collection, the new offering combines C.P. Company’s innovative and technical sportswear prowess with Palace’s experimental and eclectic aesthetic. The Goggle Jacket, one of the Italian brand’s most classic silhouettes, is the star of the show, featuring a removable fleece lining and an exterior made from Kan-D, a monofilament nylon named for its resemblance to the cellophane candy wrappers of the 1950s and 1960s. Its transparent texture and shiny surface highlights the PALACE COMPANY logo printed on the back, as well as the Palace Tri-Ferg on the front.
The transparent Goggle Jacket is offered alongside a bright orange iteration crafted from Flatt Nylon, a brushed nylon that gives a softer fabric and a matte finish. Meanwhile, the Explorer Jacket, another icon of the C.P. Company catalog, has been reproduced in D.D. Shell Rip-Stop, a thinner uncoated nylon that, combined with the Direct Down injection process, gives the garments greater softness and a more nuanced light/dark effect.
The collection also features a range of everyday garments such as cargo pants in Flatt Nylon, a cotton fleece hoodie, a graphic tee, and a lambswool funnel neck sweater. Accessories include a transformable Nylon B shoulder bag, a goggle beanie with a straight visor, a down-filled D.D. Shell scarf, and a baseball cap with earflaps and goggle lenses on the back.
The accompanying campaign film, directed by Michael J. Fox and Stuart Hammond, is a love letter to C.P. Company’s rich heritage and the beauty of northern Italy. It stars Palace skate team members Lucien Clarke, Rory Milanes, Danny Brady, and artist Andrea Renzini – a 1980s muse of C.P. Company founder Massimo Osti.
The C.P. Company x Palace FW23 collection will be available beginning Friday, December 8th on cpcompany.com and the Palace website, as well as at Palace locations and C.P. Company’s Milan flagship store. Check out the lookbook and product shots below.
