This week’s Palace drop features a new collaboration with cult Tokyo clothing label Needles.
The brainchild of Japanese design veteran Keizo Shimizu, the Nepenthes sub-label is known for offering elevated menswear inspired by classic Americana & Western styles. The new collab with Palace combines Needles’ preppy aesthetic and signature use of animal prints with Palace’s sportswear DNA.
Featured in the collection is a remix of Needles’ signature velour panelled tracksuits, adorned with Palace branding and the Needles papillon on the chest and a P logo zipper. Also featured are co-branded towelling t-shirts, leopard print hoodies with large butterfly on the back, uneven hemmed crewneck sweaters made with knit panels in different prints, and patchwork square beanies to match the crewnecks.
The collection also features a selection of pieces constructed from premium 14oz denim. Cropped, wide fit jackets are paired with matching baggy fit jeans and bucket hats embroidered with Needles’ signature butterfly logo.
The Palace x Needles Holiday 2024 collection drops Friday, December 13th via Palace in-stores and online. The collection will be available in Asia on December 14th. Check out the lookbook and preview below.
