After a long-standing partnership with adidas, Palace Skateboards is now joining forces with Nike for the P90 Collection—a lineup that reimagines Nike’s iconic Total 90 franchise through Palace’s irreverent lens on sportswear and football culture.
Kicking off the collection is a new iteration of the Total 90 III Trainer featuring a chrome medial panel and white leather with quilted stitching alongside pops of bright Volt accents across the outsole and Swoosh.
Designed for skateboarders and football fans, the accompanying apparel features shell suits, jerseys and trainers with P90 graphics. Signature hoodies, tracksuits, sweaters, shorts and tees feature Palace’s iconic Tri-Ferg with a layered Nike Swoosh. Inspired by the Total 90 era, Palace designed an exclusive linear pattern for the collaboration. The pieces blend Nike’s signature Volt with neutral color palettes drawn from historical Total 90 collections.
“I was there when the T90 boot first came to life, even during its design stages. It was my favorite as a player, so being part of its evolution into the P90 was something I was genuinely proud to be a part of,” says Wayne Rooney.
Shot by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign film brings together icons from the worlds of football, skate and music at Manor Place, a collaborative new space between Palace and Nike opening November 11th that features a skatepark, football cage, and exhibitions that are free to access. Total 90 legend Wayne Rooney, considered one of the greatest British players of all time, joins England women’s captain Leah Williamson and Chelsea’s Reece James, alongside next-gen ballers Lenna Gunning-Williams and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. Palace team riders feature alongside, with familiar faces including Lucien Clarke, Savannah Stacey Keenan, Kyle Wilson, Ville Wester and Pedro Attenborough, plus the legendary Guy Mariano. Rapper, songwriter, and grime pioneer Giggs adds his South London stamp of approval.
“We wanted to do an indoor football collection to launch alongside Manor Place, so we picked something that was nostalgic for us, something we all loved growing up, something iconic – Total 90. I’ve always loved the shoe too because they’re great to skate in”, says Lev Tanju, Palace Co-Founder & Creative Director.
The Palace Nike P90 collection is just the beginning of what’s to come between Palace and Nike. Palace Co-Founder Gareth Skewis adds: “Nike has always been a brand we’ve admired, and it felt like the right time to collaborate as there as so many synergies between our skate team and Nike.”
The Palace x Nike P90 collection drops October 31st at Palace stores and on the Palace website (11am ET). The P90 footwear will also be available on SNKRS in the EMEA region. Check out the campaign and full product lineup below.
