As a follow up from last week’s New Era x Palace collection, Palace has partnered with the estate of Whitney Houston for a capsule that celebrates the late artist’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A varsity jacket made by Ebbets, a brand that specializes in heritage and throwback flannels, jerseys, jackets, and more takes the spotlight. The jacket in the collection comes in a vintage Houston Rockets red/yellow colorway and consists of 100% wool with rayon lining. Chenille varsity patches spell out “WHITNEY HOUSTON” on the front and back with added patches on the sleeves along with Houston’s signature.
To round off the collection there is a crewneck sweater that comes in three colorways with a similar design that is found on the jacket. A graphic T-shirt with Houston on the front of her 1987 album cover wearing a Palace branded tank top makes an appearance in three colorways. To complete the collection is a duo leather strapback hats featuring “WHITNEY HOUSTON” embroidered on the front and back.
The Palace x Whitney Houston collection is set to release in-store and online via the Palace Webstore starting November 13 at 11AM EST. All proceeds will go to The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring, creating opportunities for, and empowering children and at-risk youth.
