Pastels are for spring like citrus is for summer. At least that’s what Pharrell has in mind for his latest adaptation of the adidas NMD Hu. Following last month’s “Aqua” colorway, the sneaker maintains its summery goodness with an orange dressing.
The upper features a bold orange hue on its knit upper, with lighter tones used on the heel tabs and “Uluntu” embroidery. The Primeknit gives a snug sock fitting to the wearer secured with speckled laces and a lace cage. The text translates into “Human Race” from Xhosa (a Nguni Bantu language). Black serves as an accent on the collar and the cushioned BOOST midsole complements the bright forefoot and heel bricks.
The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Bright Orange” will launch on adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers on June 12th. The MSRP is $220 USD.
