The 30th anniversary celebration of Pokémon continues with an unexpected collaboration with Beats by Dre. The franchise is getting a special-edition Beats Pill inspired by Pikachu and Mimikyu, bringing two fan-favorite Pokémon to the portable speaker.
The speaker features both characters across its grille, setting up a face-off between Pikachu’s electric energy and Mimikyu’s mysterious appeal. The design extends beyond the speaker itself, with a color-matched grey carry lanyard fitted with a Poké Ball charm.
Each speaker also comes with special-edition stickers featuring Pikachu and Mimikyu, and the packaging features a 3D design with Pikachu and Mimikyu’s ears as interactive elements for an added playful touch to the unboxing experience.
The Pokémon x Beats Pill Special Edition portable speaker launches October 15th at 11am ET exclusively through Target and Apple.com.
