The first-ever Pokémon LEGO Sets have been officially unveiled, releasing in celebration of the Pokémon franchise’s 30th anniversary.
Fan-favorite Pokémon like Pikachu and Eevee each get their own standalone sets, but the real highlight is the epic 6,838-piece set comprised of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, the fully-evolved starters of the Kanto region. These Pokémon can be displayed individually or together on their action base, with design details inspired by each of the featured Pokémon’s biomes.
The 2,050-piece Pikachu set celebrates the iconic Electric-type Pokémon features a black lightning rod shaped base and includes a Poké Ball that emits lightning energy as Pikachu exits. Rounding out the lineup is the 587-piece Eevee set, featuring movable tail, head, and limbs that allow builders to display the cherished Pokémon in various poses.
To celebrate the launch, early shoppers who pre-order the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set will receive a LEGO Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection as a free gift. This 312-piece set features a display case that houses all 8 Pokémon Kanto region gym badges. The Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set must be pre-ordered on LEGO.com or via Pokémon Center while stocks last to receive the gift.
There is also a special Pokémon x LEGO reward available exclusively for LEGO Insiders. Starting February 27th, members can redeem 2,500 LEGO Insiders points to receive a 233-piece Mini Pokémon Center set. This micro-building is filled with fun little mini-scale details on the inside, inspired by all the different versions of the Pokémon Center from the Pokémon games.
