Renegade Running and Nike Rise Together with Footwear Capsule

California-based running specialty store Renegade Running has teamed up with Nike on a footwear capsule that spotlights community and heritage.

Founded by former public school educator Victor Diaz, Renegade Running is more than just a retailer—it serves a home base for the Oakland and Los Angeles running communities, fostering belonging for all athletes. That mission has led to its designation as Nike’s first-ever Run Specialty Group collaborator, resulting in co-branded takes on the Nike Vomero Premium and Nike Vaporfly 4.

Both pairs were designed in honor of Diaz’s Mexican roots, with a rich dark brown hue covering the base and accented by pops of orange that nod to the desert landscapes of Mexico as well as Nike’s signature color. Additional details include a patterned reflective heel inspired by Mexico’s architecture and “Barrios Unidos” (“United Neighborhoods”) text featured across the designs.

The Renegade Running x Nike collection will be available starting April 1st on the Renegade Running website and at Renegade locations in Oakland and Los Angeles, followed by a wider release on April 4th via SNKRS and select retailers. Check out the collection below.
