Collaborators Rokit and Converse are back together once again under the wings of Greenhouse, Foot Locker’s creative incubator, with a new take on a certified Converse classic.
The Rokit x Converse Pro Leather retains the recognizable heritage of the low top model while giving it an instantly recognizable new twist for modern street style. The model comes equipped with an all-white upper with traditional branding on the lateral side. The medial sides of the pair, however, feature asymmetrical Rokit branding: the left shoe trades the Converse star for Rokit’s orange dot while the right shoe features embossed Rokit logotype.
Arguably the most noticeable change to the shoe, however, comes in the form of the translucent midsole and outsole that reveal a tongue-in-cheek anatomical diagram of a foot. In the end, all of these features line up to showcase a shoe committed to paying tribute to the ballers and skaters that gave it its legacy while still offering a modern streetwear twist.
The Rokit x Converse Pro Leather will release on July 16th for $110 via the Greenhouse app, the Converse webstore, and in small quantities in select Foot Locker stores (as well as at Footlocker.com). The release will also coincide with an apparel collection and a restock of their first collab, the high top Chuck 70. Take a look at shots of both models dropping on the 16th down below.
