Salomon’s archive is filled with a range of performance footwear steeped with trail racing heritage. The French outdoor-centric brand has decided to dig into its archive and bring back one of its trail sneaker designs from the late 2000s, the XT-Whisper.
The XT-Whisper was originally introduced in 2009 as the women’s version of the XT-Hawk trail shoe, answering the call for much-needed women-specific products in the male-dominated market. The model has now been remastered and modernized as a unisex Sportstyle sneaker, featuring rich textured uppers, a unique wavy Sensifit lockdown system, and tooling pulled from the XT-Pathway. The original Quicklace technology remains, providing easy-on, easy-off one pull tightening.
The Salomon XT-WHISPER is reintroduced in a green “Treetop” colorway, dropping December 10th on the Salomon website and at select retailers. Check out the official images and campaign shots below.
