Original Story (02/19/26): A BATHING APE is reuniting with Sanrio for a collection starring Hello Kitty and Kuromi, setting each character against a streetwear backdrop.
Inspired by a playful game of hide-and-seek, special CAMO patterns were specially made for this capsule with the Sanrio characters displayed throughout the prints. Kuromi’s camo comes in black, matching her dark persona, while Hello Kitty’s camo comes in a pink and red palette that nods to her more playful aesthetic. These camo patterns adorn each character’s full-zip zip hoodie, which also feature special design details tied to each character. Kuromi’s hood has two ears and a pink skull, while Hello Kitty’s hood is equipped with a removable clip-on bow.
Each lovable character receives their own product lineup in addition to the hoodies, including “Welcome to The Bape World” tees, College Logo mini tees, a trucker cap, and a BABY MILO plush doll keychain. Kuromi’s line also features a larger BABY MILO plush doll with a detachable hood. The collection will be available in women’s and kid’s sizing.
BAPE and Sanrio have collabed several times prior to this release, most recently in 2024 for a special collection celebrating the 25th anniversary of BABY MILO.
