Santa Cruz is marking 30 years of the Pokémon with a full collaboration including 30 skateboard decks, each built around a different card from the TCG, plus apparel and griptape. This project marks the first time Pokémon TCG card art has officially appeared on a skateboard.
The decks are sold blind, so each one comes in a bag, and you won’t know which design you got until you open it. Each deck includes a limited-edition Player’s Guide booklet that shows all 30 designs and 3 chase variants, so you’ll know what you’re hunting for.
Each deck prints a full card in the middle of the board, then stretches the artwork out around it. The first three are the old-school ones: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise from the original card art. Venusaur gets a burst of leaves, Charizard gets a wall of flames, and Blastoise gets crashing water. The newer cards get their own looks. Pikachu ex sits in a shattered crystal pattern, Dragapult ex gets a burst of dark icy shards, and Iono’s Bellibolt ex floats over stars. Holographic finishes show up throughout the lineup.
Eevee fans have the most to chase. Eevee itself gets a forest scene, and eight of its evolutions get decks too. Sylveon swirls in pink, Umbreon sits above a moonlit tower, Glaceon stands in a snowy field, and Flareon is wrapped in flames. Leafeon, Vaporeon, Dark Espeon, and Jolteon each get the same treatment.
Charizard gets three decks. Beyond the original, two Mega Charizard EX cards each get a katakana Santa Cruz logo. The deeper cuts include Gengar EX, Rocket’s Mewtwo ex, a gold-star Rayquaza, Lugia EX, Giratina V, Mew ex, and Pikachu & Zekrom GX.
This is the second time Santa Cruz and Pokémon have teamed up. The first collaboration dropped in 2023, and Santa Cruz calls it the single largest drop in skateboarding history.
The Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG Collection releases worldwide on October 17th through the Santa Cruz website (9am ET), Zumiez, and select skate shops. Check out all 30 decks below.
