Slam Jam and Salomon continue their collaborative partnership, blending Salomon’s alpine expertise with Slam Jam’s Y2K-informed visual language.
Following the launch of their first-ever joint snowboard collection in December, the two brands are back with a lifestyle-centric collection for the city led by the XA PRO 3D GORE-TEX, Salomon’s iconic trail silhouette reworked through Slam Jam’s futuristic lens. The sneaker retains its performance foundation while incorporating updated mesh construction and contemporary detailing, creating a balance between technical function and progressive streetwear aesthetics.
Equipped with GORE-TEX waterproof protection, the shoe is built for all-weather wear without compromising breathability. Underfoot, Salomon’s 3D Advanced Chassis provides stability and structure, paired with an EVA midsole for cushioning and a Contagrip rubber outsole engineered for dependable traction. Additional design elements include a mesh upper, Speed Lacing System, reflective accents, OrthoLite sockliner comfort, and embroidered co-branding that subtly reinforces the partnership.
The drop also has a selection of lifestyle essentials, including hoodies, long sleeves, and beanies. The apparel echoes the collection’s early-2000s outer-space influences while maintaining Salomon’s performance-rooted sensibility. In terms of snowboarding, the collection also features the Salomon x Slam Jam Sleepwalker Snowboard Deck in black and the Slam Jam Sentry Pro Goggle Mask in “Asphalt.” The outerwear offering includes a Fleece Castlerock, Absolute 3L Jacket, and Slam Jam Pants.
The Slam Jam x Salomon XA PRO 3D GORE-TEX and apparel collection is available now via Slam Jam, with a wider release scheduled for February 24th through the Salomon website and select retailers.
