Sneaker Politics and adidas have teamed up to launch the AdiZero Goukana “Roadkill,” a new iteration of the fresh running silhouette inspired by West Texas highways and Southern terrain.
The pair features suede and nubuck overlays echoing rugged terrain, atop a classic white breathable mesh base, with soft pink accents throughout. The chunky midsole features a gradient design and adidas’ signature plush Lightstrike cushioning. Politics branding appears on the insoles, with a subtle P logo also found on the black leather heel panels.
The accompanying campaign lays the shoes on the ground against a desolate road—pops of brown and red from the pebbles below and the endless possibilities of moving wildlife reflect the pair’s soft but deadly color design.
