Sneaker Politics links up with Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks and ANTA for a KAI 3 colorway inspired by patchwork design and the Texas community.
This KAI 3 features a mixed-material patchwork upper, combining leather, embroidery, canvas, burlap, and more, all stitched together for a textured, cohesive look. A Texas-inspired mix of blue and red drives the palette, while gold accents hit the tongue and outsole.
“Inspired by handcrafted patchwork motifs, this collaboration brings together diverse fabrics and textures connected through detailed stitching, turning the design into a symbol of unity,” Sneaker Politics says. “The project reflects Kyrie Irving and Politics’ shared commitment to craft, culture, and community.”
To mark the release, Sneaker Politics partnered with Lori Blair of the Dallas City Council to restore the basketball court at Fahim J. Minkah Community Park, blending community, sport, and design. Pairs will be available the grand reopening of the refurbished court on March 20th from 11am-2pm. The event will feature food, music, and activities for all ages.
An EQL raffle for the Sneaker Politics x ANTA KAI 3 “Patchwork” is now open, and any remaining pairs will drop on March 21st at the Sneaker Politics Dallas store (11am CT) and online (9am CT). Check them out below.
