Back in March, SNIPES, adidas, and the Detroit Pistons came together to release the Forum Hi “313 Day.” The shoe was limited to 600 pairs and was only available in Detroit via a mobile truck that made stops throughout the city. Just like the Detroit Pistons fought their way, literally, to consecutive championship victories in ’89 and ’90, SNIPES and adidas bring you back-to-back Forum His in celebration of the Detroit basketball team.
This second SNIPES x adidas Forum Hi celebrates the toughness of the champion-winning “Bad Boys.” The patent leather upper comes dressed in black and orange, matching the Detroit team’s uniform of that era. Additional details come in the form of an “’89” and “’90” season tag, “D” on the heel tab, a criss cross ankle strap system with the adidas logo and “Back to Back” motifs, and is individually numbered out of 1,200 pairs. An apparel line, including tees, sweatshirts and sweatpants will also be available.
The SNIPES x adidas Forum Hi “Bad Boys” will launch April 24th via the SNIPES website and select SNIPES stores in Michigan. The pair retails for $110 USD.
