Original Story (09/01/25): Miami-based sneaker boutique SoleFly is dropping a new Air Jordan 3 collaboration and has enlisted a few Miami Hurricanes legends to help debut the shoe.
Pro Football Hall of Famers Andre Johnson, Ed Reed, and Edgerrin James were in attendance at the Canes season opener at Hard Rock Stadium on August 31st to watch their team defeat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Joined by SoleFly co-founders Carlos Prieto and Daniel Hidalgo, the HOFers all laced up the upcoming SoleFly x Air Jordan 3, giving fans the first public look at the collab.
The SoleFly 3s feature white leather uppers paired with suede overlays in Miami colors, green on the toe cap and orange at the heel. Additional orange and green hits are found throughout the design, and SoleFly’s logo is embossed on the lateral heels.
This marks the second time SoleFly has used University of Miami colors on an Air Jordan collab, matching their highly-coveted Air Jordan 1 from 2018. This is also the retailer’s second Air Jordan 3 project, following the “Lotto” colorway released in 2014.

Update (09/10/25): More Floridians have been gifted early pairs of the SoleFly Jordan 3, including DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Jorge Masvidal, Mike Tyson, Dolphins legend Jason Taylor, and former Hurricanes Frank Gore and Jack McClinton.
Update (11/20/25): The SoleFly x Air Jordan 3, officially dubbed “Fruits Of Our Labor,” is launching via EQL raffle, with entries accepted starting December 2nd at 10am ET. It’s name is a double entrende, nodding to Florida oranges as well as the results that come from hard work. Check out the official images below and stay tuned for further release details.
