Young Thug’s fashion brand, SP5DER, has always operated in its own lane: bold, Atlanta-coded, and uninterested in playing by anyone else’s rules. Its latest collaboration with adidas Originals makes that clearer than ever. The two brands are back together, this time introducting a brand new silhouette, the F50 Formotion, born from the collision of two very different sporting worlds, where cleat heritage meets running construction.
The Formotion sole unit underneath does real work, engineered to move with the foot rather than against it, which makes the whole thing feel less like a fashion sneaker and more like something you’d actually want on your feet all day. Up top, leather and synthetic panels give it structure without stiffness, the zigzag mesh breathes, and a soft interior keeps it comfortable from the inside out. All-over silver dominates, pink breaks through wherever it can find an opening, and the SP5DER graphic lands on the heel.
The rest of the collection matches that energy without missing a step. A black jersey anchors the apparel side, with a web graphic across the back doing the heavy lifting visually. Track pieces in the same black palette get rhinestone stripe treatment, subtle enough to read as sport, flashy enough to read as SP5DER. The shorts come numbered, the goalkeeper gloves flip the brand’s signature lettering in pink, and a crystal Three Stripe cap ties the whole thing together.
Lamine Yamal fronts the campaign, shot inside a locker room after hours, giving the final images a dark and mysterious effect, it suits both the athlete and the brand perfectly.
The collection pre-launches June 26th via KINGSPIDER.CO, with the global drop following on July 1st via the adidas website, CONFIRMED, and select retailers. Check out the collection below.
