Sp5der’s First Paris Pop-Up Was Worth the Wait in Line

Custom denim, Pablo Attal links, and a line that didn't quit till after dark.

Sp5der brought the web to Paris, and the city showed up in full. Tucked inside Pablo Attal’s Pablo T-Shirt Factory (PTSF) on Pass. des Marais, the brand’s first-ever Paris pop-up on June 23rd turned into a full-day event, with a line snaking outside the door from noon to a close that ended up getting pushed well past its original 6 PM cutoff. The heat didn’t scare anyone off.

Inside, the focus wasn’t on clearing racks out fast; it was on giving Paris something it couldn’t get anywhere else. A collaborative tee with Attal and a run of exclusive sweatsuits were screen-printed live on-site throughout the day, so customers watched their pieces come together in real time rather than picking something off a rail. That energy carried over to the denim setup, where Sp5der ran a one-of-one chain-stitch program on Levi’s, hand-customizing jeans on the spot so no two pairs left the building the same. The racks also held a selection of SS26 ready-to-wear alongside the Paris-only drops, giving longtime fans and new ones a reason to stick around even after grabbing their custom pieces.

For the Paris tees, one came with a blown-out black ink stain that swallowed the entire back panel with “élevage d’araignées” stamped in white. Another went bold with a sprawling red spiderweb crawling across the front, anchored by a navy “paris.” A third kept it cleaner, stacking a warped “j’Adore Paris” graphic across the chest with a single red heart tucked into the lettering. As for the sweatsuits, four colorways were released: red, white, blue, and forest green, all featuring Sp5der’s signature web and logo.

Outside, the pop-up turned into its own kind of scene. diamond* and Sk8star linked up to shoot a music video right outside PTSF, with Tezzus and Yung Fazo swinging by to pull up on the crowd. Between the in-house customization and the artists posted up outside, the day felt less like a typical retail activation and more like a block party that happened to sell merch.
