Spalding is making playing ball more accessible than ever before with its new Momentous Portable Basketball Hoop. Its innovative EZ Assembly design allows the hoop to be up and ready to use in 30 minutes or less.
While other portable hoops can take over three hours to assemble, the Momentous EZ Assembly setup is just a fraction of that. Spalding accomplishes this with a unique folding mechanism and much of the unit already pre-assembled right out of the box.
The Momentous EZ Assembly comes with either a 50″ or 54″ steel-framed acrylic backboard, 8’-10’ Infinite Adjust Elevator Lift System, a 36-gallon base for superior stability, and an Arena Slam Breakaway Rim. There is a standard H-Frame version and a premium Clear View backboard version made with a thicker performance acrylic with no obstructions behind it like how the pros play, a first for portable basketball hoops.
“We named the hoop Momentous because it will have a significant impact on the future of basketball,” said Ron White, Sr. Director of Spalding Global Basketball Systems. “Spalding has a 150-year history of continuous innovation to grow the game. Disrupting the basketball hoop category – a category we lead globally – is in our DNA.”
The Spalding Momentous EZ Assembly Acrylic Portable Basketball Hoop is currently sold out on Spalding.com, though a restock is coming on November 25th at 8am CT. You can also find it at Academy Sports, Scheels, Dunham’s Sports, and Amazon. Retail price ranges from $349 to $599 USD.
