The Harlem Globetrotters are teaming up with Chicago-based brand Stria Sport to debut a partnership that spotlights the Stria Sport as the official performance shoe for the 2026 centennial season.
When Keith Dawkins, President of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Enterainment Studios, saw players wearing Stria Sport footwear during their official Global Tour games, he connected with them about joining forces with the sneaker brand. The partnership not only merges heartfelt authenticity and business, but also reflects on the duo’s ethos and continued rise:
“When we look for partners, our goal is to find brands that have roots like us in the great sport of basketball that have also grown in many other ways, and Stria fits that model very well,” says Keith Dawkins. “Eric Porter and his team founded a disruptive brand in Chicago, just like the Globetrotters, and have grown it globally from the grassroots on up. They will be an outstanding showcase brand for us as we begin our Centennial season.”
Stria Sport will be outfitting game and performance shoes for the Harlem Globetrotters and Washington Generals beginning with a special event at Madison Square Garden on December 14th for the 100th anniversary tour:
“We are extremely excited to officially launch our partnership with the world-renowned Harlem Globetrotters for their upcoming 100th anniversary season,” said Eric Porter, Stria Sport founder. “Our goal has always been to design the highest-performing shoes that can help athletes around the world succeed at the peaks of their careers. We are inspired, humbled and motivated to contribute to the next phase of the Globetrotters legacy and their commitment to excellence on the court and in the community.”
The full 100th Anniversary Tour will continue onwards with Boston and Pittsburgh on December 26th and continue the roll out across 200+ domestic markets and over 125+ markets internationally.
