Subtitle, the NYC-based fashion studio founded by Liang Shi, is partnering with TOHO’s anime franchise Jujutsu Kaisen for an apparel capsule that elevates fan merchandise into high-end garments for everyday wear.
The 18-piece collection draws from Jujutsu Kaisen‘s beloved characters, the cursed techniques that shape their world, and its rich narrative arcs. Rather than slapping a character’s face onto a blank tee, Subtitle creates pieces built with intention, transforming the wearer into the character themselves. The Red Hood Shirt takes on Yuji Itadori’s iconic outfit, while the Black Flash Tee features red stitches that appear when Sukuna takes over his body. The Geto Zip-up Jacket features the pattern of his traditional haori and added distressing nods to his manipulation abilities. Other standout pieces include the Mahito Transfigured Jacket with detachable sleeves, and the Uniform Jacket, Pants, and Skirt — for those who prefer to represent a jujutsu sorcerer rather than a cursed technique.
