Supreme has linked up with ’90s alternative rock pioneers Jane’s Addiction this season on an apparel collection paying homage to the band’s legacy.
The pieces in the collection feature artwork from the band’s early discography. The knit cardigan, offered in burgundy and black, features artwork from Jane’s Addiction’s debut album Nothing’s Shocking on the back. Meanwhile, the mechanics jacket is offered in green and navy and equipped with a removable hood, with cover art of the band’s second album Ritual de lo Habitual on the back. This artwork also appears on the front of the Ritual Tee. Also, the short-sleeve button-up features artwork of Santa Lucia (St. Lucy), an image that was popularized on a Jane’s Addiction t-shirt in the 1990s during the bands Ritual de lo Habitual era.
Looking elsewhere in the collection, the hoodies feature the cover art of the band’s self-titled live album from 1987 on the front with the lyrics “gonna kick tomorrow” from the song “Jane Says” printed on the back. The ringer tee features two graphics on the front, one of which being the “It’s My Party” graphic seen on the band’s tees from the ’90s. Rounding out the collection is the Stealing Tee, featuring the artwork to the band’s 1990 single “Been Caught Stealing.”
Supreme x Jane’s Addiction drops Thursday, October 31st on the Supreme website and at Supreme locations. Available in Asia on November 2nd. Check out the preview below.
