In the early 2000s, Nike riffed on its Foamposite and Flightposite basketball models to create the Clogposite, an easy-to-wear footwear style for pre-and-postgame relaxation. The Clogposite was perhaps too ahead of its time, not getting much love when it was first introduced, though fitting right in in today’s footwear landscape. More and more people are looking for alternatives to conventional sneakers, creating a rising trend in clogs, mules, slides, and even sneaker loafers.
Nike is now testing the waters with the Clogposite once again, bringing the style back in a handful of colorways, including three in collaboration with Supreme. The Supreme version is offered in triple black as well as in two colorways designed by Aldo Drudi of Drudi Performance, the Italian motorsport designer who also worked on Supreme’s collaboration with Ducati last season.
The Drudi Performance colorways of the Supreme Clogposite are offered in bold yellow/blue and red/white/green color schemes, in line with the bright colorways that Aldo Drudi is known for using in his moto racing helmets and gear. All three feature Supreme branding on the lateral heel, an embroidered Swoosh on the toe end of the tongue, and co-branded footbeds in Supreme’s signature red. Supreme and Nike will also be dropping Crew Socks in matching colorways that will be sold separately.
