Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2022 season kicks off this week. Ahead of the launch, the NYC streetwear giant has shared an extensive preview of what’s to come.
We see a wide array of inspirations and references, ranging from soul singer Al Green and rapper Lil Kim to the science fiction series Aeon Flux and Marvel character Silver Surfer. Collaborations on the apparel include Stadium Varsity Jackets with Mitchell & Ness, studded puffer jackets and jeans with B.B. Simon, and hats with Kangol. There’s also a mix of artist contributions including glow-in-the-dark tracksuits with embroidered artwork by AOI and denim trucker jackets adorned with the work of photographer DaidÅ Moriyama.
In the footwear department, we will see continued restocks of the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 throughout the season. We also see a glimpse of a Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2 in the lookbook, confirming rumors from back in September. It is interesting to note that the colorway previewed is black, while rumors indicated that colorways dropping would be white, olive, and red.
Last but certainly not least we have the accessories, once again including a wild mix of Supreme-branded products for the season. The full-size Airstream Travel Trailer will definitely be extremely limited and the most expensive product from the entire collection. Other products include a woven area rug, a Meissen hand-painted porcelain mirror, an IT’S OK TOO cassette player, B.B Simon dog leashes and collars, and a Supreme edition of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.
The first drop from Supreme Spring/Summer 2022 will be available in stores and online this Thursday, February 17th, with additional weekly drops every following Thursday. Check out select pieces below. The full preview and lookbook can be found on the Supreme website.
