Jordan Brand Announces Cultural Partnership with Golf Collective swang

Rooted in culture, led by community.

Jordan Brand has launched a cultural partnership with Los Angeles-based golf collective Swang, centered on creativity, access, and self-expression.

swang began as a bi-weekly range hangout and has since evolved into a community-led collective at the forefront of a new movement—bringing golf into neighborhoods, cities, and the everyday spaces where community actually lives. What started in Los Angeles has grown into a cult following, redefining how the sport looks and feels by placing creativity, music, self-expression, and streetwear energy alongside the game itself. The ethos remains simple: pull up and tap in.

swang founder Modi Oyewole reflects on the roots of his passion project:

“I came into golf being myself. Jordans on, baggy shorts, a jersey, music blasting. swang grew out of that energy,” he says. “It’s a place where you can pull up and tap in, whether it’s your first swing or you’ve been playing your whole life. From day one building swang, we literally had Jumpman on the top of our ‘Mount Rushmore of Brands’ Google doc. They’ve always pushed sport into culture, and that’s exactly where swang lives. It’s surreal, but it also makes sense.”

The partnership kicks off at swang’s Free Range community nights at Rancho Park, where every other Thursday, over 300 golfers of all skill levels gather for complimentary clubs, balls, and instruction, set in a relaxed environment. Both swang and Jordan Brand plan to expand the initiative with additional programming, events, and learning opportunities throughout the year.
