Earlier this year, Teyana Taylor was given her flowers at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, winning Best Supporting Actress in the film One Battle After Another. Now, the multifaceted artist is continuing to grow her garden with the “Concrete Rose” Air Jordan 3.
The pair features prickly green thorn vines wrapping around a matching green-hued leather upper with a concrete-finished midsole, reflecting her journey as a rose emerging from concrete, starting from the bottom and creating a successful career for herself with resilience and perseverance. These vines can be clipped off for a more traditional look, though they cannot be reattached once removed. Additional details include metallic gold eyelets, a gold-colored rose lace charm, and a Fire Red rose emblem on the tongue.
While Teyana’s first Jordan collab, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “A Rose From Harlem” from 2023, focused on the rose flower itself, her second Air Jordan is more about the thorns that protect the rose from danger.
The Harlem native expands on her AJ3 collaboration with an original poem shared via Instagram:

The “Concrete Rose” Air Jordan 3 was officially unveiled at a private Teyana Taylor x Jordan GRAMMYS party in early February. Teyana also wore the shoe during NBA All-Star Weekend, where she made an appearance at the No Thorns, No Rose activation at the Jordan House of Greatness in Inglewood.

Update (03/09/26): Official images of the “Concrete Rose” Air Jordan 3 have arrived alongside first looks at the accompanying apparel capsule. Pieces include a layered pullover hoodie, fleece pants, and a layered short-sleeve top. Also, sizing for the shoes goes up to 17W.
