The Hundreds. Osiris. Fred Durst? Nostalgia is high with this latest collaboration between LA’s The Hundreds and skate shoe company Osiris. Bobby Hundreds was originally approached by Brian Reid, the original designer of the D3, back in 2016 with an opportunity to collaborate on this silhouette of the classic skate shoe. At first, Bobby was hesitant to work on this sneaker, but gave in after younger staff members showed interest in the potential collab.
Although it was mostly popular in the early 00s, the Osiris D3 remains as one of the best-selling skate sneakers ever. The silhouette is best known for its large eyelets, fat tongue, and overall bulkiness, a characteristic that was popular in skate shoes of the era.
The Hundreds x Osiris D3 dons a black synthetic upper, reflective detailing on the eyelet overlays, a black midsole, and gum outsole. The Hundreds’ classic Adam Bomb logo adds contrast to the heel.
You can cop The Hundreds x Osiris D3 when it releases this Thursday June 20 at select stockists and online. Check out images of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst rocking the collab below.
