The Whitaker Group and adidas Originals continue expanding their Do Not Duplicate platform with the introduction of the adidas Do Not Duplicate BW Mundial. Arriving ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, the football-inspired lifestyle silhouette explores how the sport’s visual language extends far beyond the pitch.
Rather than reviving an existing model, the BW Mundial is an all-new hybrid that combines two adidas classics: the Mundial Team turf soccer shoe and the classic German Army Trainer, aka the BW Army. The result is a low-profile silhouette that blends football heritage with everyday wear, reinforcing the Do Not Duplicate platform’s ongoing message of taking familiar ideas and making them distinctly your own.
Available in Black, Cream, and Blue, each pair features layered leather and suede construction paired with textile side panels for added depth and contrast. Fold-over tongues nod to classic football boots, while gold adidas branding, metallic lace accents, stitched detailing, and a turf-inspired rubber outsole complete the design. Finishing touches include the Do Not Duplicate collection’s signature Morse code-inspired heel notches and blank tongue tags, subtle details that have become defining elements of the platform’s clean, understated design language.
Each colorway offers its own take on the silhouette. The Black pair combines a dark leather and suede base with cream paneling, red and blue stitching, and an off-white midsole. Cream leans into warmer tones with tan suede overlays and subtle pops of color, while Blue delivers the boldest look of the trio through tonal blue layering, darker textile panels, red stitching, and yellow branding accents.
Like previous Do Not Duplicate releases, the BW Mundial uses footwear as a storytelling vehicle.
